Materials Needed

If you would like to switch adapt a toy or create a battery interrupter yourself, here are the materials you will need!

Battery Interrupter

- 3.5 mm female jack to bare wire (one per every battery interrupter)

-Copper tape

-Electrical tape

-Scissors and/or hole puncher

- Thick plastic (the packaging of a cookie container works great)

To test if your battery interrupter you will need a toy like the photo below. Simply place it in between the battery and the metal part and plug it into a switch.

Switch Adapted Toy

(Solder free version)

--3.5 mm female jack to bare wire

-Wire strippers

-Electrical tape

- Switch (can be found on amazon or made yourself)

To test your toy, simply plug it into a switch, and if when you press the switch the toy activates you've done it!
